oppo reveals a new concept for full-screen smartphone (USC) under-screen camera

In 2020 every new smartphone is the same the differentiating factors are diminishing to null. each one looks like a different version of the same model with the same glass sandwich design.2019 was no different too but still, there was a differentiating factor and that was the camera. each new smartphone came with or at least tried to increase the pixel count (pun intended) and adding different types of lenses of zillions of pixel count and so on. but for now, the battle has included the competition for 100% screen to body ratio or at least as near to it as humanly possible.

It's all possible due to not so new OLED technology which works on the principle of the light-emitting diode so it does not requires any kind of backlighting or any other backlit mechanism all it requires is an ultra-thin layer of organic diodes with a thin sheet of macro anodes and cathodes under and above it making the display extremely thin, and here the concept of USC (under-display cameras) pops up.

From the previous  Oppo smartphones, we can clearly teel that oppo spends a good amount of fortune in its R&D. we all have a glimpse of a super futuristic smartphone Oppo find x  

The find x was clearly way ahead of its time and technology so as every first attempt it didn't skyrocket but it's the second smartphone with a similar kind of technology was an amazement to the users and the complete smartphone market. then son every other smartphone manufacturer came with its own kind of motorizing pop up camera.

now we have to see if its the way to the 100% screen o body ratio or the Samsung ad Huawei's attempt of folding smartphones more about that in some other posts.
